During this difficult time, we understand that families are facing financial challenges. It is precisely at this time that we are redoubling our efforts to ensure every child remains enrolled in Jewish Day School.
Please use this form to apply for emergency scholarships for the2020-2021 school year if the following applies to your current situation:
I/We paid full tuition for the 2019-2020 school year
My/Our income has reduced due to the economic downturn
I/We are new to Jewish day school
If your situation does not meet the above criteria, please contact your school and apply for financial assistance.

Consent
We hereby verify that all information is complete and correct. We understand that the information will be reviewed and is subject to verification by the tuition committee. We further understand that the tuition committee will upon completion of this review notify us of the tuition amount the committee has determined appropriate. Misrepresentation or non-disclosure may void any agreed tuition and the school has the option of re-evaluating the tuition, treating the family as full fee payers or refusing admission to the school. Income and subsidy information and the assessment by this committee are subject to review by the UJA Federation Koschitzky Centre for Jewish Education. All information submitted and the results of this review are treated as strictly confidential. In submitting and signing this application form, we acknowledge and consent to the sharing of this information with members of the committee, the UJA Federation Koschitzky Centre for Jewish Education, and, in the case of families with children at more than one Jewish day school or, in the case of children who transfer to another Jewish day school, the professional staff and tuition committee members at the other affiliated Jewish day school(s).
You will receive a response within four weeks from the date this application is submitted. Please note, that some applicants maybe asked to complete a standard subsidy application. Because the economic situation is changing so rapidly, we will return to you in the Fall in order to reassess you financial needs. As part of the temporary nature of this process, this form is only applicable for the 2020-2021 school year.
