Normalizing Normal is a practical, grounding workshop that helps Early Childhood Educators better understand typical child development—what’s expected, what’s worth watching, and what may signal a red flag. Together, Dr. Green, PhD., C. Psych and Shira Karpel, MEd, BCBA, RBA (Ont) will explore developmental milestones across domains, clarify common areas of confusion and over-pathologizing, and examine how classroom environmental factors such as clear routines, expectations, and reinforcement can shape behaviour and growth. The goal is to build shared language, confidence, and clarity around what’s normal and when to refer or seek support.
