Silver Family Infant Program
Kayla’s Children Centre offers an early intervention program for children ages 0-2.
KCC’s Infant Program helps infants form the developmental building blocks necessary for growth and development, both physically and psychologically. Therapists work individually with students and parents to develop close and caring relationships that help families continue to facilitate their children’s growth at home.
Receiving a diagnosis or noticing that your baby is not meeting developmental milestones can be overwhelming. Understanding where to find support and what types of therapies your child might need is challenging to navigate alone.
It is a stimulating program with ongoing consultation and treatment from our professional therapy team, consisting of:
- Occupational therapy (and feeding support) Physiotherapy
- Early intervention (supporting cognitive development)
- Social work
- Music therapy
- Speech language pathology
At the start of the program, each professional will perform an assessment and set goals together with parents/caregivers. This program is rich with opportunities to strengthen your infant’s developmental skills with therapy embedded into play, music time, movement, and snack time. Our program also offers opportunities to connect with other parents navigating similar situations.
Early intervention is key to your child’s future success. We are here to support you as you learn more about your baby’s specific needs and abilities.
