KCC is thrilled to open our state-of-the-art hydrotherapy centre—the only fully accessible pool in York Region. This pool is filling an urgent need in Vaughan and is a very exciting addition to our centre.

The benefits of hydrotherapy and swimming for individuals with disabilities and medical needs are significant. In the warm waters, individuals with mobility challenges can be independent, flexible, and free; they can build strength, muscle tone, endurance, and balance. The benefits are not only physical, but mental and emotional as well.

Our swimming lessons are available to any child above the age of 3, both with a disability and without. Adapted group lessons are for children with disabilities who can follow group instruction with some assistance.
