Physiotherapy & CME/Medek

Physiotherapists assess and treat developmental, neurological, cardiorespiratory and orthopaedic conditions in infants, children and adolescents with the goal of maximizing independent mobility and quality of life.

Occupational Therapy

Our Therapists work with children to improve gross and fine motor skills, motor planning, independence in self-help skills as well as printing. OTs also address sensory processing challenges, self-regulation skills and support feeding/eating skills.

Speech and Language Pathology

SLPs assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and oral/feeding/swallowing skills. This lets them identify areas that need attention and the best way to treat it.

ABA Therapy

ABA focuses on how behaviours are affected by the environment, as well as how learning takes place. The ultimate goal of ABA is to establish and enhance socially important behaviours.

Music Therapy

Our Music Therapy program provides avenues for communication that can be helpful to those who find it difficult to, or can’t express themselves in words.

Hydrotherapy

The benefits of hydrotherapy and swimming for individuals with disabilities and medical needs are significant. In the warm waters, individuals with mobility challenges can be independent, flexible, and free; they can build strength, muscle tone, endurance, and balance. The benefits are not only physical, but mental and emotional as well.

Infant Intervention Program

Kayla’s Children Centre offers an early intervention program for babies who are 6 weeks – 2 years old. It is a stimulating program with ongoing consultation and treatment from our professional therapy team.

Social Skills Group

Social skills groups are geared for children who have some foundational skills in attending and learning but struggle in applying their skills to a group setting or who struggle with self-regulation and flexibility.
